The Board undertakes wide-ranging consultation on proposals that affect the profession.

Consultation is an important part of the Board’s engagement with members of the dental profession, members of the public and other stakeholders. The feedback provided via consultation is greatly valued, and informs the Board’s development of important documents.

Consultation on proposed options for Dental records guidelines

The Dental Board of Australia is now consulting on the proposed options for Dental records guidelines.

Please note: Due to the upcoming holiday period, this consultation is longer than the usual 8-week consultation period to ensure all interested stakeholders have the chance to consider the revised guidelines and make a submission.

The National Boards and AHPRA publish submissions at our discretion. We generally publish submissions on our websites to encourage discussion and inform the community and stakeholders.

Please let us know if you do not want your submission published, or if you want us to treat all or part of it as confidential.

Please note that we will not place on our website, or make available to the public, submissions that contain offensive or defamatory comments or which are outside the scope of the subject of the consultation.
